Congratulations Central!
Central School Principal Cori McKenzie recently told me that Central recently won the prestigious Blue Ribbon Award. Central is one of 27 schools in California to receive this national award given to the top schools, both public and private.
I'm not surprised. The quality of education in Belmont schools is the tops. My kids attended Central and I was very impressed with the teachers, staff, and parents who are all working to make the school the best.
Belmont is home to over 20 public and private schools, from preschools to NDNU, the only University in San Mateo County.
I attended Carlmont and my children attend Belmont schools (Carlmont and Ralston). I support the diversity in Belmont education. Belmont schools are especially gifted with an abundance of support from parents--but because good education is expense, more support is always needed.
From serving lunch to fund raising, Belmont schools are what they are because of countless hours of volunteering by parents and community members.
