The Arts In Belmont
At the left, a sculpture by Beniamino Benvenuto Bufano (Benny Bufano) near the entrance to the Gallery at the Center Manor House. Many artists keep studios in the Manor House, which also boasts galleries and regular exhibitions.
The Twin Pines Art Center is a coalition of studio artists and three arts organizations:
ARTshare of San Mateo County, the Belmont Arts Council, and the Peninsula Museum of Art. The Art Center provides studio space for several artists.
"Evidence of Things Unseen" is the current exhibit at the Peninsula Museum of Art, 10 Twin Pines Lane, Belmont, CA.
Up Ralston, near Carlmont Shopping Center, you'll find 1870 Art Center on the old Barrett School campus. The 1870 Art Center is home to many artist studios and galleries.
"Junk Reconsidered, Art From Unlikely Sources" by Cosette Dudley Image gallery, is the current exhibit at the 1870 Arts Center, 1870 Ralston Avenue, Belmont, CA.
The Weigand Gallery, on the campus of NDNU is another fine arts venue. The current exhibit is "Retablo: Behind the Altar, A Collection of Paul LeBaron Thiebaud."
